The Labour Welfare Board of Karnataka is providing educational assistance for the childrens of construction workers residing in the Karnataka state. Under the Labour Card Scholarship Educational Assistance initiative, eligible students who apply for this scholarship receive an amount ranging from Rs 1,100 to Rs 11,000 annually, depending on the student’s class or degree.

In the previous year, students applied for the Karnataka Labour Card Scholarship through the Seva Sindhu portal. Consequently, students are required to check their Labour Card Scholarship status on the Seva Sindhu portal. However, this year, the Labour Welfare Board of Karnataka has made it compulsory to apply for the Labour Card Scholarship through the official website of KLWB, specially designed for educational assistance. As a result, students are now confused about where to check their Labour Card Scholarship status in the current academic year.

The Labour Card Scholarship amount for the academic year 2023-24, based on various classes or degrees, are provided below.

The first method to check the Labour Card Scholarship status for 2024 is through the official website of the Karnataka Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (KBOCWWB) by following the process below:

STEP 1 : To check the Karnataka Labour Card Scholarship status for 2024, first, visit kbocwwb.karnataka.gov.in. Next, choose the KBOCWWB option and then click on the ‘Education Assistance Status‘.

STEP 2 : Now, enter the scholarship application reference number, which can be found in the acknowledgment slip received after applying for the Labour Card Scholarship.

NOTE : If the Labour Card Scholarship status is not showing in the KBOCWWB website, you can follow the second method given below.

The second method to check the Labour Card Scholarship status for 2024 is through the official website of the Karnataka Labour Welfare Board (KLWB) by following the process below:

STEP 1 : To check the Karnataka Labour Card Scholarship status for 2024 through KLWB, first, visit klwbapps.karnataka.gov.in and then click on the ‘Education Assistance‘ option located at the top menu.

STEP 2 : Now, log in to the KLWB portal using your credentials such as a mobile number and password given during the registration process on the KLWB website.

STEP 3 : In the menu options located on the left side, choose the scholarship status option to view your labour card scholarship status for the academic year 2023-24.

NOTE : To view the labour card scholarship status on the KLWB website, you must have submitted the scholarship application for the current academic year only through the KLWB website. Otherwise, the status will not be visible on the KLWB website.
