The Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship 2024 is an initiative by the Department of Agriculture (KSDA), Government of Karnataka. Under the Raita Vidya Scholarship, a scholarship amount of up to Rs 11,000 will be provided to students who are children of farmers, to support their education in various courses in the state of Karnataka.

The Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship was introduced in the year 2021, with a dedicated amount of one thousand crores allotted for this scholarship, as per the decision of the Government of Karnataka.

Students must meet the following eligibility criteria to be eligible for the Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship 2024.

• To be eligible for the Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship 2024, the student must be a resident of Karnataka.
• The student’s parents (either the father or mother) must have a agricultural land, and the landowner (father or mother) should be registered on the Kutumba website, obtaining a Fruits ID.
• Students can apply for the Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship 2024 even if they are receiving other scholarships from the Government of Karnataka.
• If both the student’s father and mother are agricultural landowners, the student can obtain a scholarship for a single land. two scholarships for two separate lands will not be provided.
• The Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship 2024 will only be provided through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to the bank account linked with the student’s Aadhar.
• The scholarship will only be provided for one course. if the student enrolls into any higher education program after completing a certain course, the scholarship will be discontinued.

Find Your Fruits ID for Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship 2024

If you do not know your Fruits ID to submit the application for the Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship 2024, you can find your Fruits ID by following the procedure below.

STEP 1 : Visit the official website of Fruits ID at the following link : fruits.karnataka.gov.in

STEP 2 : Click on the “Citizen Login” option located at the top right corner, and log in to the portal using the mobile number registered on the Fruits website. Typically, the mobile number used to log in to the Fruits website should be the landowner’s (student’s father or mother) mobile number, not the student’s mobile number.

Click on the “Reset Password” button, and the login password will be sent to the registered mobile number.

STEP 3 : Now, log in to the portal using the mobile number and the password received on your mobile number through SMS.

STEP 4 : Now, you will be prompted to create a new password, simply create it according to your preference. Afterward, log in again to the portal.

STEP 5 : In the menu bar, under Registration, click on the “Online Registration” option. Now, you will see all the details of the landowner registered with the Fruits Department, including your Fruits ID. Just note it down securely.

Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship 2024 Apply Online

Please note that there is no separate online application process for the Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship 2024. You just need to apply for the SSP Scholarship through the State Scholarship Portal.

During the SSP Scholarship application process, your parents Aadhaar details will be collected by the SSP Portal, and the Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship 2024 will be awarded to eligible candidates automatically based on the details submitted in SSP Scholarship Portal.

STEP 1 : To apply for the Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship 2024 , Visit (ssp.postmatric.karnataka.gov.in) and log in to the portal using your credentials. In the top menu bar, click on the ‘Apply for post-matric scholarship‘ and then carefully fill out all the details requested in each step including your parents adhaar details to fetch Fruits Id.

STEP 2 : Once you have filled out all the details requested in each step correctly, preview and verify the SSP Scholarship application for any necessary corrections or modifications. and then, click on the ‘Submit‘ button.

Once you submit the application for the Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship 2024 through the State Scholarship Portal, you can check the scholarship status through the SSP Portal only by following the process below.
