Surprisingly, Congress won all three seats, defeating BJP and JDS. Prior to the elections, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had announced that the government would release both the 14th and 15th installments within the same month. However, as the month is about to end, the 15th installment has not yet been released, and no beneficiaries have received the funds so far. Additionally, there have been no updates from the government for several days. Now, Women and Child Development Department Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar has addressed the matter.

While the delay in the Gruhalakshmi 15th installment continues, the opposition party BJP has criticized the Congress government, alleging that the Gruhalakshmi scheme funds are released only before elections, and the government remains silent afterward. Responding to these claims, Lakshmi Hebbalkar stated, “If our intention behind the Gruhalakshmi scheme was to distribute money only for elections, we wouldn’t have released 14 installments so far“.
