Under the Labour Board Education Assistance program, eligible students will receive an annual scholarship ranging from Rs.1100/- to Rs.11,000/-, depending on their academic level, until the completion of their education. Labour Card Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 2024-25

• The eligibility criteria for the Labour Card Scholarship require that the student’s parent is a registered construction worker with the Labour Welfare Board, Government of Karnataka.
• The monthly income of the parents should be equal or less than Rs.35,000/- per month, as indicated in the recent press note from the Labour Welfare Board.
• To qualify for the scholarship, students must have achieved a minimum of 50% in the previous examination for the General category and 45% for the SC/ST category students.

The following documents are required to apply for the Labour Card Scholarship application in the year 2024-25 :

STEP 1: To apply for Labour Card Scholarship 2024-25, Visit the official website of Karnataka Labour Welfare Board (klwbapps.karnataka.gov.in) for labour card scholarship by clicking on the link provided below on this page.

STEP 2: Register on the KLWB portal by clicking on the ‘Registration‘ menu option. Then enter your mobile number, choose ‘Mobile Verification’ as the verification method, create a new password, and click on the ‘REGISTER’ button.

STEP 3: Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number and click on the ‘SUBMIT‘ button.

STEP 4: Now, log in to the KLWB portal using the credentials such as your registered mobile number and password you provided during the registration process.

Enter the captcha as it appears on your screen and click on the ‘LOGIN‘ button.

STEP 5: If you are logging into the KLWB portal for the first time, you will be requested to create a security question and its answer of your own choice.

Simply select the question, such as ‘Your Nickname,’ type in your answer, and click the ‘SUBMIT’ button.

STEP 6: After logging into KLWB portal, On the left side of the screen, click on the option titled ‘APPLY SCHOLARSHIP.’

If you are applying for the scholarship on your mobile, click on the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) to view these menu options.

STEP 7 (Important): An online application form for the Labour Card Scholarship for the academic year 2024-25 will be opened.

Please enter all the details requested in the scholarship form carefully, including:
