Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the SBIF Asha Scholarship For Under Graduate Students, applicants must meet the following conditions:

• Indian Citizenship: Applicants must be Indian Citizens.
• Academic Enrollment: The scholarship is open to students pursuing undergraduate degrees (any year) at top institutions in India. These include colleges and universities ranked among the Top 100 in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) for 2023 and 2024. also students from all National Institutes of Technology (NITs) are also eligible to apply. (List of top 100 universities & colleges for 2023 & 2024 as per NIRF is given below)
• Minimum Academic Requirement: Students must have achieved at least 75% marks in their previous academic year.
• Family Income: The gross annual family income of the applicant must not exceed ₹6,00,000. Additionally, more preference will be given to students with an income below ₹3,00,000.
• Reservation for Female and SC/ST Students: 50% of the scholarship slots are reserved for female students. Additionally, preference will be given to students from Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST).

SBIF Asha Scholarship Amount 2024 For UG Degree Students

Under SBIF Asha Scholarship For UG Degree Students , the selected students will receive a scholarship amount of ₹50,000 directly to their bank account.
