In this article, we will guide you on how to check the prize money status through either of the two methods we are about to discuss.

In this article, we will walk you through the process of checking the DBT status of your prize money scholarship if your application has already been approved.

Prize Money Status Check 2024 Through DBT App

As mentioned earlier, the prize money scholarship amount is being credited to the bank account linked with your Aadhaar. Consequently, the transaction history will be visible in your DBT application account, as visible in the images below.

Now, let’s explore how to check the prize money status using the DBT mobile app.

STEP 1 : To check your prize money status first, log in to the DBT mobile app and click on the “Payment Status” option.

STEP 2 : Now, a list of all the scholarships you have received through DBT will be displayed. If the prize money scholarship amount has already been credited to your bank account, you will find an option titled “Postmatric Prize Money“. Click on it to view the transaction details, including the scholarship amount transferred and the date it was credited.

NOTE :

• It is important to note that if your prize money scholarship application is approved but the DBT status is not visible in the DBT app, please wait for a few days as it takes some time for the prize money status to be reflected within the DBT application.
• Additionally, ensure that your bank account is linked with your Aadhaar card. otherwise, you may not receive the scholarship amount.

Prize Money Status Check 2024 Through SWD & TWD Websites

The second method to check the Prize Money Status is through the official websites of your respective department, either the Social Welfare Department or Tribal Welfare Department. The status check links for both SC and ST students are different, and they are provided below in this article.

STEP 1 : To check the prize money status, visit either swdservices.karnataka.gov.in or twd.karnataka.gov.in, depending on your caste category. Click on the “Application Status” option to check both your scholarship application status and DBT status. Direct links are provided below :

STEP 2 : Now, enter your Prize Money Scholarship application acknowledgement number and click on the “View” button to see the status of your scholarship.

Lost your application acknowledgment number?

If you have lost your application acknowledgment number to check the prize money status, simply choose the “College Wise” option. Select your college details from the drop-down lists and find or search your name in the displayed list to recover your prize money scholarship application acknowledgment number. Explanation of Different Stages in Prize Money Status

When you check the Prize Money Status, you may see the below-mentioned different status stages. Now, let us see what each status stage refers to :

• Blank : If the prize money status is blank, it indicates that your prize money scholarship application has not yet been checked or reviewed by your concerned authority officer.
• Approved/Aadhar Seeded Successful : Your prize money scholarship application has been reviewed by the concerned authority officer, and your Aadhaar is successfully linked to your bank account. Consequently, you are eligible to receive the scholarship amount through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
• Rejected : Your prize money scholarship application has been reviewed and rejected. This could be due to either non-compliance with eligibility criteria set by the Social or Tribal Welfare department or failure to submit physical documents to your concerned district office.
• Pushed to DBT : Your scholarship amount has been sent to the DBT cell for transfer to your bank account linked with Aadhaar. and you can expect to receive the scholarship amount very soon.
