The MS Ramaiah Scholarship is an initiative by the MS Ramaiah Charities Trust to provide financial assistance to students belonging to the Balija community. MS Ramaiah Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the MS Ramaiah Scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:

• The financial assistance is only available for students who have secured admission under the government/free seat quota.
• Students must belong to the Balija community.
• Students must be in their first year of study in UG or PG Degree, or PhD in a Karnataka government recognized institution (Both Government & Private college students are eligible).
• Students who have secured admission through private/ management/ Comed-K quotas are not eligible.
• The scholarship is only for students residing and studying in Karnataka. Applications submitted by students from neighboring states will be rejected.
• All submitted applications must be complete and include all required documents. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
• All documents must be duly attested by the Principal/Head of the Educational Institution.

Documents Required for MS Ramaiah Scholarship

• Student’s Aadhar Card.
• Student’s Caste Certificate.
• SSLC, PUC, Degree, PG Course, or any consolidated marks cards. Each document should not exceed 5MB per sheet.
• CET/NEET/PG/University admission order along with fee paid receipts.
• Transfer Certificate (TC) to confirm caste and religion of the student.
• College ID Card / Study Certificate for current academic year.
• Balija Sangha Certificate/Letter: A certificate or letter from the Taluk/District/State Balija Sangha must be submitted to confirm community status. (Balija Sangha Certificate is given below for download)
• Student’s bank passbook that includes the Name, Account Number, Bank Name, Branch, IFSC Code, and District.

How to Apply for MS Ramaiah Scholarship 2024-25

To apply for the MS Ramaiah Scholarship 2024-25, Please follow these step-by-step process:

• To apply for the MS Ramaiah Scholarship, first visit http://www.msrcharitiestrust.com/StudentRegistration.aspx and register using your personal details, bank details, and college details. Upload your passport-size photo during registration and create a new password, which will be required for future logins. (Registration link is given below)

• After successful registration, log in to the portal using your user ID and password created during the registration process. (Your user ID is the email address provided during registration.)
• Once logged in, all your personal, bank, and college details will be displayed. In the menu, click on “Upload Documents” and upload all documents attested by your college principal or institution head in JPG/JPEG format.

• After uploading, review all details for any corrections and click the submit button.

MS Ramaiah Scholarship Selection Process

The selection process for the MS Ramaiah Scholarship will be carried out entirely at the discretion of the M S Ramaiah Charities Trust management. Students will be selected based on the financial need and the completeness of their application.
