The SSLC Prize Money Scholarship is an initiative by the Social Welfare and Tribal Welfare Departments of Karnataka, aimed at students who have completed their SSLC / Class 10th. To qualify for the SSLC Prize Money Scholarship, a student must fulfill the following requirements:

1. The SSLC student must be from the SC/ST category.
2. The SSLC student must have completed their SSLC/Class 10th at any private or government school in Karnataka.
3. The SSLC student must be a permanent resident of Karnataka.

Documents Required To Apply For SSLC Prize Money Scholarship 2024

The following documents are required to apply for SSLC Prize Money Scholarship for the academic year 2023-24.

• Caste & Income Certificate of the student
• SSLC / 10th Markscard of the student
• Aadhaar Card of the student
• Bank Pass Book of the student (Bank account which is linked with the student aadhaar)
• One Passport Size Photo of the student

How to apply for the SSLC Prize Money Scholarship 2024

STEP 1: To apply for the SSLC Prize Money, first visit https://swdservices.karnataka.gov.in/index.aspx. Then, under “Online Applications,” click on “Prize Money Application.”

STEP 2: The Prize Money portal will open. In the top menu bar, click on “Register/Apply,” then select the “Register” option.

STEP 3: In the drop-down menu, select “SSLC” and click on “Validate Aadhaar.”

STEP 4: Enter the student’s Aadhaar number, tick the Aadhaar declaration box, and select OTP as the authentication mode. Enter the OTP received on the mobile number linked with the student’s Aadhaar and click “Submit.”

STEP 5: An online application form for SSLC Prize Money will open. Fill out your personal details such as SSLC register number, father and mother name, phone number, college district, and taluk.

STEP 6: Enter your caste and income certificate numbers, then click on “Validate Caste/Income Certificate Number.”

STEP 7: In the academic details section, select the course as SSLC/10th, the university as (CBSE/ICSE/Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board), and enter your SSLC hall ticket/register number. Your percentage will be fetched automatically.

STEP 8: Upload your SSLC original marks card in PDF format with a file size less than 500KB, and finally click on the “REGISTER” button.

An acknowledgement will be shown on your screen. Kindly download or print the acknowledgement and submit your documents to the welfare department office mentioned in the acknowledgement.
