Yuva Nidhi Scheme Eligibility Criteria
The applicants who fulfill the following eligibility criteria will be able to submit an application for the Yuva Nidhi scheme.
- The student must be a resident of Karnataka.
- The student must have completed their diploma or any degree only in the academic year 2022-23. (Students who graduated in previous academic years (i.e. before 2022-23) are not eligible for this scheme.)
- The student must not be pursuing any higher education after completing their diploma or degree course.
- The student must not be self-employed, either with or without obtaining loans.
- The student must not have been employed or working in any government or private sector organization after completing their diploma or degree.
- The student must not have availing any ESI/PF/NPS benefits.
- The student must have studied in the state of Karnataka for a minimum of six years.

To apply for the Yuva Nidhi scheme, you do NOT need to upload any kind of documents while submitting the application online. Everything is automated, and you just need to enter the document numbers of the following documents.

How to Apply for Yuva Nidhi Scheme 2024 @sevasindhu.karnataka.gov.in
Please follow the below procedure to apply for the Yuva Nidhi scheme using your mobile phone or PC from the comfort of your home.
Applicant Details
STEP 1 : Visit the official website of Seva Sindhu (sevasindhugs.karnataka.gov.in) for Yuva Nidhi at the link provided below on this page and log in to the portal using your Seva Sindhu account credentials.
STEP 2 : Read the self-declaration and accept it by selecting the ‘Yes‘ option.
STEP 3 : Click on the Aadhaar authentication button , a separate window will open. Enter your Aadhaar number and select the type of authentication as OTP.
Enter the OTP received on your mobile number linked to your Aadhaar card and click the submit button.
STEP 4 : Return to the previous page and click on the ‘Get Aadhaar Details‘ button.
Details such as your Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Photo, and Permanent Address will be displayed, and these are not editable.
STEP 5 : If your permanent address and current address are the same, select ‘Yes’ option. If the addresses are different, select ‘No’ option and manually enter your current address.
STEP 6 : Select your District and Taluk Name from the drop-down lists.
Education Details
STEP 1 : Select the course you completed (Diploma or Degree).
STEP 2 :
a) If you have completed a diploma, select the class or standard you studied previously (PUC or 10th).
b) If you have completed a degree, select the type of degree you completed (UG or PG).
STEP 3: Select your Board or University Name from the drop-down lists and enter your Registration or University Seat Number (USN).
Note :
a) As the details of your degree or diploma certificate are directly fetched from the NAD database, if your education details are not showing, kindly wait for some days as the universities need to update their student data to the NAD portal.
b) Make sure you enter your registration or USN number with no spaces included. If there are any spaces in between or after your registration number, your details will not be able to fetch from the NAD database.
Domicile Verification
a) If you have completed a diploma, select the Ration card option and enter your ration card number.
b) If you have completed a degree, choose any option that suits you and is applicable, then enter the corresponding document or registration number.
Communication Details
Enter your Mobile Number and Email-Id
Additional Details
Select your caste category, and if you have any physical disability, choose ‘Yes.’ If not, select ‘No’.
Final Submit
Enter the captcha number as it appears on your screen and click the submit button.
Mistakes to Avoid After Submitting Yuva Nidhi Scheme Application
- You are required to promptly inform the government upon securing employment (Job) or becoming self-employed. Failure to do so will result in penalties as per the government of Karnataka regulations.
- Please actively search for jobs or plan your own business, as the scheme benefits will only be provided for 2 years.
